Iron- After performing in many Iron Pour Shows, Chapin wants to share the experience through jewelry. The transformation of one element with fire into various stages is expressed in the suite, Iron, Diamonds and Silver. This collection captures the elements of iron castings in sterling silver and is accented with black diamonds, emphasizing the beauty of iron, highlighting the process and product of iron casting. Each piece features the element iron morphing from pig iron (cuff) to slag (ring) to cast iron (pendant); this change through heat is fueled by coke (earrings). Time, pressure, and heat transform carbon, into diamonds, which accent the sterling silver jewelry.
