My love for the magic of metals and nature developed the designs of my Vein collection. While creating the Vein series, I envisioned entering a mountain mine, a cave with water dripping down the walls, rich veins of gold sparkling with the flash of the lantern. I listen for the Tommy Knockers tapping on the walls. Gold is fused onto sterling silver then patinaed, representing veins of rich gold. Diamonds mimic the glistening water on the mine walls. The patinated black sterling silver gives these designs its unique look, like the cavern walls.
